TO HUMANS Featuring JEREMY LOMBARDO Releases EP

(Apple Valley, CA) – TO HUMANS, a new alternative rock project featuring drummer Jeremy Lombardo (son of world-famous metal drummer Dave Lombardo), released a brand new self-titled 5-track EP. It is available via their official Bandcamp page. TO HUMANS also features lyricist/vocalist/guitarist Danny Toranzo and bassist Ace Anderson.

TO HUMANS: New Alternative Project Featuring Jeremy Lombardo Releases New Self-Titled EP

Drummer Jeremy Lombardo states,

“When we perform, we’re definitely not your average indie rock band. We definitely all have a connection to each other when we perform live. There’s a certain spirit that we all feel and we try our hardest to impress and share that emotion and spirit that we feel with our audiences.”

Jeremy adds,

“The new EP is essentially a compilation of some of our earlier songs that the band wrote a long time ago, mixed with a couple newer songs that we wrote shortly before entering the studio. Most of our songs start as a freeform jam fused with Danny’s ideas that eventually morph into what you’ll hear on the EP.”

TO HUMANS formed in 2011. They have performed several shows at venues including the legendary Whisky A Go Go, The Roxy, The Viper Room, The Wire, and more. The band cites Portugal the Man, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Circa Survive, Arctic Monkeys and others as influences.

TO HUMANS will be performing at two shows in California this April.
4/12 Upland, CA @ The Wire
4/27 Hollywood, CA @ Amplyfi

Fluch Der Zeit is the second album from the German gothic metal band Eisenherz, who see themselves as part of the ‘Neue Deutsche Härte’ movement. It is the follow up to their self-titled debut album. The band’s sound has been described as “somewhere between Rammstein, In Extremo and Unheilig”. The edition I received also features a song from their debut album, Die Seele Brennt as a bonus track.

Now, why is it that whenever I hear of a band being compared to Rammstein I automatically assume that it is going to be industrial? Particularly if the said band also happens to be German. Don’t get me wrong, I love German industrial music but there’s no industrial influences on this album. This is not another Rammstein-influenced industrial rock/metal group akin to the likes of Eisbrecher and current…

Lamb of God frontman, Randy Blythe, has been found not guilty in his trial for manslaughter.

42-year-old Blythe had been charged with causing the death of 19 year-old concert goer, Daniel Nosek, at a LoG show in Prague in 2010. Nosek was hospitalised after hitting his head after being pushed from the stage during LoG’s set, where he died several weeks later. Blythe had consistently stated that he was unaware of Nosek’s injury and eventual death until he was arrested upon attempting to enter the Czech Republic for another concert in June 2012; however, he had admitted to pushing a fan from the stage but believed them to be unharmed.

Presiding judge, Thomas Kubovec, ruled that the incident did not constitute a crime and acquitted Blythe of all charges. If found guilty, Blythe could have faced a prison sentence of up to 10 years. The prosecution immediately lodged…
