DEATH TOLL RISING Post Guitar Play Through Video

Death Toll Rising has posted a new guitar play through for their track ‘Crack Open A Cold One’ from their latest album Infection Legacy.

“We are pleased to be releasing our first of two guitar videos today, something we have never done before.  So crank it, then sit back and Crack Open a Cold One!” comments guitarist Drew Copland.

Death Toll Rising – Crack Open a Cold One (guitar video)

Rising up the ladder of the Canadian metal scene with their latest album ‘Infection Legacy’ unleashed October2013, Death Toll Rising won praise in 2013 from fans, metal publications, and support from Canadian Loud Charts remaining on the Top 20 since November 2013. The band has also been recently nominated for Metal Recording of The Year at the upcoming Edmonton Music Awards taking place on Sunday, April 13th Royal Alberta Museum Theatre.

Request DEATH TOLL RISING on #TWRradio every Tuesday & Thursday on TuneIn.

Metal Recording Of The Year
All Else Fails “AntiMartyr”
Death Toll Rising “Malice Incarnate”
Dieuponaday “Enlighten”
Monarch Sky “Circles”
Villainizer “Twin Tower Two-Step”

Nominees List: http://2014edmontonmusicawards.blogspot.ca/2014/02/and-nominees-are.html

About: Featuring a combination of death and thrash metal, the Edmonton-based band are known to devastate their audiences with their high octane performances that has lead them to share the stage over the years with high profile names such as Kataklysm, Cryptopsy, The Haunted, and Aborted (to name a few).

Originally formed in 2003 in Stony Plain, AB, Canada, Death Toll Rising have been grinding the Western Canadian metal scene steadily, gaining huge momentum over the last 3 years. New addition Tylor Dory on guitars has introduced a technical and progressive element to the band they have not had in the past. Add in the intense and relentless drumming provided by Bryan Newbury (recently recruited by Canadian prog/death powerhouse INTO ETERNITY), as well as the well-rounded rhythm provided by Drew Copland on guitar and Mike Puff on bass, and you get a monster that is only now being unleashed upon the masses with vocalist Jesse Berube topping things off with a combination of brutal death growls and Tomas Lindberg-esqe high shrieks, which will be plenty noticeable on their new album Infection Legacy.

Full album stream of Infection Legacy can be heard here or here along with being purchased here.

NERO DI MARTE To Release Split With VOID OF SLEEP

Italian atmospheric unit NERO DI MARTE will be releasing a split 7″ EP with Void of Sleep after both bands’ gear and equipment were stolen before a recent show in Rome.

The band stated:

“In less than 30 minutes, someone broke into our van and was able to take everything. It happened in broad daylight near a police station in Rome, despite there being a massive amount of police forces surveilling the area but, alas, no security cameras. Guitars, amps, pedal boards, drums, merchandise and personal belongings… a total of 25,000€ was stolen from both bands.”

The EP will consist of a new track from each group, which will be recorded at Studio 73 in Ravenna, Italy. The bands have set up a fundraiser through Indiegogo containing packages including signed merchandise, Skype lessons and even the opportunity for your own private show HERE:

Video – Insectoid Jam – Tribune rehearses Insectoid during their last jam before touring

This is Tribune‘s second cross Canada Tour since 2012, when they toured across the US and Canada in support of their last release Elder Lore/ The Dark Arts.

The Vancouver quintet unleashed their concept album ‘Tales’ during October 2013 via their indie label Corpse Corrosion Music. The release was inspired entirely by literature and features a wide array of influences from Homer to Mary Shelley to H.P. Lovecraft, to more extreme musical influences such as Carcass, Death and At The Gates. The band’s appetite for more melodic and more brutally heavy sounds to follow-up 2011’s Elder Lore/The Dark Arts is demonstrated with their collusion of extremity and accessibility that bleeds into the melting pot and their fresh take of progressive death metal.

KADAVAR Set to Kick Off North American Tour

Berlin Proto-Metal Power Trio Set to Kick Off North American Headlining Tour

Blues-Bruised Band Reinterprets Metal’s Masters to Intoxicating, Addictive Effect; Bringing Amplified Live Show to Stateside Stages Now
Deluxe, 2-CD “Tour Edition” of New Album Abra Kadavar to be Released May 13!

Berlin-based psychedelic power rock trio KADAVAR launched their North American headlining tour in Houston, TX. The scheduled five week trek — presented by Scion AV — will see the band take the stage in 25 major markets across the U.S. and Canada, bringing its much talked about live show and deep daze retro-metal to as many music fans as possible. KADAVAR continues to thrill audiences across the globe, touring in support of its latest a self-titled debut, LP Abra Kadavar.

“We are excited to return to North America and our amplifiers are at the ready,” comments KADAVAR vocalist/guitarist Christoph Lindemann.

“We hope you are ready for what we are bringing your way. See you soon.”

The KADAVAR headlining trek kicks off on the heels of multiple, much-talked-about live performances as part of the 2014 SXSW Festival, where the trio was hailed as “super exciting” and “a must-see live band.”

Since the release of 2012′s eponymous debut album, KADAVAR has cast a spell over fans of solid riff-driven yet doom-like 70′s hard rock (à la BLACK SABBATH, PENTAGRAM) and has shared the stage with like-minded acts such as SLEEP, ELECTRIC WIZARD and SAINT VITUS. Now, music fans can witness for themselves the captivating power and excitement of KADAVAR’s vaunted live show as the North American tour is set to begin.

Additionally, Nuclear Blast Records will release a special “Tour Edition” of KADAVAR’s Abra Kadavar on May 13. The limited edition set will include the band’s latest album in its entirety packaged along with a second, full live CD, documenting the band’s undeniably memorable and powerful live show.
