Upon being assembled in 2003 by founding members Martin Samson and Stef Jomphe in Gatineau, Insurrection has been growing, modulating and mutating into a machine of an aural onslaught. Norwegian industrial jazz-metallists’ SHINING are hosting a remix competition for I Won’t Forget, the first single/video from their new album One One One. Anyone can enter the competition by downloading a stems package and putting together their own remix.

SHINING front man Jørgen Munkeby commented:

To be a part of the competition, you must fill out a spreadsheet and return it to shining(at)shining.no by April 25 to receive instructions on where and how to deliver your remix. The deadline to complete the remix is May 5. Munkeby will then choose his three favorite remixes and feature them on the band’s Facebook, Twitter and Soundcloud pages. French sowers of distinctive Black Metal, AOSOTH, premiered a video for Ritual Marks Of Penitence - the closing track off the new album entitled IV: Arrow In Heart. The video, directed by Matthieu Spinazzola and David Fitt, can be viewed at You Tube, below.
