Sweden’s TRUCKFIGHTERS

Formed in 2001, TRUCKFIGHTERS‘ are already a well known name in Europe, having released three critically acclaimed LPs and performing over 300 live gigs across the continent.  The group’s music has been described as “classic desert rock” calling for comparison to fellow Swedes DOZER as well as U.S. legends such as the mighty Kyuss and Fu Manchu, the latter with whom TRUCKFIGHTERS toured extensively with in Europe.  After releasing a pair of EPs and a split LP in the early 2000’s, the group released their debut album Gravity X in 2005. The band’s sophomore album Phi was released in 2007 and in 2009 TRUCKFIGHTERS released the LP Mania, which has become a “modern classic” in underground rock circles.   The album featured the single and video “Con of Man” (view at this location) and garnered the trio a spotlight on the MTV Sweden show “Fuzz”.

In conjunction with the U.S. tour, TRUCKFIGHTERS have released the limited edition colored vinyl LP Hidden Treasures of the Fuzz – The Anniversary of the Century, a collection of rare and unreleased recordings.  The LP is available via the band’s label Fuzzorama Records at this location.  Additional information on the Truckfighters documentary film can be found at this location.
