Hailed as a “crushing musical experience easily among the year’s best extreme-metal records” by Revolver, Widowmaker was named “album of the month” in the new issue of Terrorizer. The album also garnered 4/5 ratings from Alternative Press — who claimed “music doesn’t get much more devastating than this” — as well MSN Entertainment (who also awarded it “Album of the Week”). The members of DRAGGED INTO SUNLIGHT — whose identities remain hidden by masks, and who perform live with their backs to audiences in near total darkness — have claimed that the concept behind Widowmaker is “everything heavier and everything louder than everything else,” and that the album will “leave the listener thinking whether jumping out of a 4th floor window might actually be the best idea they’ve ever had.” It marks the group’s first release since 2010’s Hatred For Mankind, which Prosthetic reissued worldwide in 2011.
Bieler Bros. Records is thrilled to announce the signing of Bullet Saints and the release of their debut single Hellbound featuring Virus and Tripp from Dope and Twisted Method fame. Bullet Saints are a no holds barred, kick ass rock band from Nashville and their new single is already making waves at radio in the US. Bullet Saints are best described as Guns N’ Roses for NASCAR fans.
Label president Jason Bieler said, “In a day and age where there are no real rockstars anymore… these guys come along and are so unapologetically over the top that we knew this would be something special. Plus at the root of it, Hellbound is a great rock song.”

Produced by Darius Szcespaniak (SACRIFICE, SUM 41, BLACK CROWES), these seven explosive tracks blend innovative guitar shredding, furious operatic vocals, thundering drums and rumbling, gut-busting bass.
Hideous Appetites stands out from the herd as Adrenechrome crafted old school classic thrash to meet today’s modern prog evolution to bring back good ol’ fashioned face melting rock n’ roll.
Adrenechrome vocalist / guitarist Chris Friesen comments on the release,
“ADRENECHROME is extremely excited to officially release out debut EP, we have put out heart and soul into this project, and can’t wait to hear for the world to hear it. We welcome accolades and criticisms alike, much love and thanks :)”

ULI plans on celebrating this anniversary with a one of a kind show that features an entire set of SCORPIONS material as well as selections from his extensive solo catalog. Every show on the tour will be recorded for a live album documenting this amazing milestone in ULI‘s career.
The tour is currently scheduled to kick off January 25 in Los Angeles, CA and runs through March 3. More dates will be added in the coming days. Stay tuned to http://www.ulijonroth.com for the most up to date schedule.
ULI is looking forward to presenting this historical show to his North American fans:
“Celebrating my 40th anniversary of joining the band, we will play a full set of SCORPIONS songs alongside my more recent material. We will feature several songs from each of the albums that I played on, including some, which have not been played live before. I’m really looking forward to it. Hope to see you there!”
Because of his ground-breaking, highly innovative and distinctive trademark guitar work, ULI is widely regarded as being one of the greatest guitarists of all time.
As one of the main founding members of the SCORPIONS, ULI wrote much of the material for the bands – by now legendary – first five albums, which include the hugely successful live album Tokyo Tapes. These early SCORPIONS years with ULI, Klaus and Rudolf as the nucleus, were absolutely essential in shaping what is now considered the classic SCORPIONS sound.
ULI is regarded as a significant influence by many notable guitar players, including, but not limited to Slash, Eddie Van Halen, Joe Satriani, Kirk Hammett, Steve Vai and Yngwie Malmsteen. Having collaborated and shared the stage with the likes of The Smashing Pumpkins, Deep Purple, Brian May, Jack Bruce, UFO, and many others, ULI continues to inspire and pave the way for musicians and fans alike.
After his departure from the SCORPIONS, ULI JON ROTH embarked on a successful career as a solo artist, producing highly influential albums with his band Electric Sun, as well as performing classical concertos with orchestras.
ULI also invented his own instrument the legendary 6-octave Sky Guitar, which is currently on the market as a limited edition signature model.
In addition to his 40th Anniversary shows, ULI will also be offering his world renowned Sky Academy Seminars while he is on the road in North America. These introductory seminars are not just aimed at guitarists, but fans and even non-musicians may well find plenty to gain from Uli’s unique way of talking about some of the deeper mysteries of music. For some people Sky Academy has even been a life-changing experience, because ULI‘s teaching can open up completely new ways of experiencing music.
The aim of Sky Academy is to provide knowledge and inspiration to those who take guitar playing seriously and to help them reach a new plateau. The seminars are designed to open musicians’ eyes to new possibilities and to trigger an awakening of the student’s full potential and talent. Special emphasis is given to inspirational concepts rather than just technical means. Sky Academy is designed to teach particularly those things which are not normally touched upon in music teaching, but which provide a true gateway to mastery.
Tickets for the introductory seminars are available through the individual venues and can also be purchased at http://www.sky-academy-registration.com/.

Greek symphonic metallers NIGHTFALL launched a landing page featuring the artwork and a new song off their upcoming new album Cassiopeia! Please surf over to http://www.metalblade.com/nightfall/to check out the pre-order possibilities and the lyric video for Oberon & Titania.
Singer Efthimis Karadimas regarding the concept of Cassiopeia: “Cassiopeia has a specific thesis and though its name is linked to both the constellation and the mythical character of Andromeda´s mother, it refers to arrogance as leading characteristic of the human race; the outcome of this and the overweening state of affairs are so popular these harsh days everywhere. The entire world seems to be shifting from its previous position to a new one and all and each one of us that used to feel like masters of our destiny are now starting to wonder about when, where and how this transition will end. It may be a punishment like Cassiopeia and Andromeda who claimed themselves more beautiful even to nereids suffered, or it may be just another change. Time will certainly tell.”
And about Oberon & Titania: “The song is based on Shakespeare’s A Midsummer’s Night Dream couple; He is the king of fairies and She is the fairy queen. Despite their apparent close relationship, they end up forcefully using their powers and skills against each other; like maniacs blinded by light of passion and haughtiness they drag themselves to the lowest dungeons of nature. It is the ceaseless passion between two beings; passion that unites before it destroys anything around it once unleashed. It is true we are nothing when it comes to sustaining our gratefulness in front of desire. We are born broken in a dilute world poets’ admiration cannot disguise. And none can break the broken.”
Cassiopeia will be released January 18, 2013 via Metal Blade Records in Europe.
The recordings for Cassiopeia took place in four different places, something NIGHTFALL is quite familiar with. Vocals and keys were recorded in Greece (Soundflakes studios & Cyberia) while the drums got hammered down in Germany in the Soundlodge studios. Guitars and bass were recorded in the U.S. in Nashville, Tennessee in the Boomcave studios.
More than on the previous album Astron Black & The Thirty Tyrants, in Cassiopeia the spirit of old school Heavy Metal larks in almost every riff, with Mercyful Fate´s and King Diamond´s guitar style having its top notch, always the NIGHTFALL way.
Efthimis Karadimas – vocals
Evan Hensley – guitars
Constantine – guitars
Stathis Ridis – bass
Stathis Kassios – keys
Jörg Uken – drums
