San Francisco/North Bay progressive deathcore unit, Ænimus, are proud to announce they will be hitting the road on the “Groove It or Lose it” West Coast tour. The 10 date trek, which sees fellow Northern California deathcore troupe As Death Comes Calling hopping on for a handful of dates as well.
The band also unleashed the final studio video update of their recording sessions from their forthcoming debut album, Transcend Reality. You can check out the video at this location: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PUlIlud28UA
Bassist Seth Stephens had the following to say about the upcoming tour and video update:
“We are very excited to announce that we are done recording and we’ll be going on our first regional tour this spring. We spent the last 2 years writing and recording Transcend Reality and playing a handful of shows in preparation for this. We have been waiting (im)patiently to share with our fans what we have worked so hard on, and can’t wait to see you all this spring and reveal new songs. In addition to that, we are stoked to present our final studio video update for the album, which features clips of vocal sessions and a run down from Matt on the albums concept and lyrical content.”
Ænimus recently wrapped up the recording process for their debut album, Transcend Reality, at NB Recording in Santa Rosa, CA with Producer Nick Botelho (Deadly Remains, Hatchet, The Kennedy Veil). The album will contain a total of 13 tracks and will feature guest vocals from Eddie Hermida (All Shall Perish) on the track Heavy Lies the Crown. A release date has not yet been set.
