RAM Present Brand New Video Clip

Swedish heavy metal act RAM recently shot a video for the song I Am The End from their latest release, Death. Metal Blade Records partnered with Revolver Magazine to premiere the video in North America. Click HERE to watch the new video now at revolvermag.com.

10th anniversary show in Gothenburg announced!

I Am The End was directed by Martin Högdal, edited by Leonard Palmestål and written by Oscar Carlquist – the same team that worked on the Flame Of The Tyrants video. The song was written by Harry Granroth and Oscar Carlquist.

Oscar Carlquist comments on the video:

“The I Am The End video shows a completely different side of the cinematic vision of RAM than what we created in the Flame Of The Tyrants video. This video displays a lot of esoteric aspects, and has many layers of symbolism that will not be seen at once. We thank everybody involved for their outstanding dedication to making flesh out of our disturbed visions.”

In other news Daniel Johansson – guitarist and one of the founding members – has decided to leave the band. The departure was amicable and a replacement for Daniel has already been found. RAM are very happy and proud to welcome former RAM session guitarist Martin Jonsson as a fulltime member.

2013 marks the 10 year anniversary since RAM released their first release: the Sudden Impact EP. This will be celebrated on Friday, September 13. A concert has been booked in Gothenburg at the venue Sticky Fingers (Top Floor). The show will also feature special guests PORTRAIT and TRIAL. RAM’s performance will be filmed.

The Sudden Impact EP will be rereleased on vinyl only and in a strictly limited edition of 500 copies through Gothenburg based label Lake Of Fire productions. The EP will be released at the 10th anniversary concert.

RAM live shows:
19/07/13 FI – Lieto – Hammer Open Air
13/09/13 SE – Gothenburg – 10th Anniversary Show
19/10/13 NL – Amstelveen – Heavy Metal Maniacs Festival

“It’s an ‘imagine Ozzy and George Lynch joined Exodus’ pastiche” – Decibel Magazine

“Despite their Swedish origin, RAM bubbles over with the kind of British riffing and toe-tapping gallop pacing that so is so inseparable from the New Wave of British Heavy Metal” – BloodyGoodHorror.com

“as muscular and dynamic as it is epic and catchy” – Kerrang Magazine

“The album shines for its riffs. Songs like Comes from the Mouth Beyond and Release Me feature a flawless lead guitar; although it’s definitely classic heavy metal, it’s played in a much more aggressive manner, making it something akin to Saxon on a cocaine binge” – MetalSucks.net

Industrial Rock Powerhouse DARKC3LL Unleashe New Single

(Brisbane, Australia) –  Praised as a truly ‘world class act’, industrial rock powerhouse, DARKC3LL, proves that they are no ordinary band with the release of their single Exorcist through RTD Records/Rocket Distribution.  Showcasing their dynamic and constantly evolving approach, Exorcist deals with anti-control and a twist of anti-religion with their trademark hook-driven, stadium rock sound.

“DARKC3LL combines all the best elements from your favourite heavy bands to create a semi-industrial metal sound that is so underrepresented in music today… To say the sound is huge would be a massive understatement. Exorcist packs a punch with its heavy synths and killer guitar solo, complimented perfectly by frontman Jesse Dracman’s vocals. Exorcist is destined to become a crowd favourite. With a crushing beat and catchy chorus, there’s no excuse not to be headbanging along” – Sofie Marsden, SF Media

“This track is brutal, exceptionally honest and just a little bit evil. It covers all the old bases whilst bringing the new breed Aussie Industrial flavor. In my humble opinion it is executed in a seasoned and professional manner and to be absolutely frank I’m still not tired of hearing Six Hundred and Six Six. It is THAT compelling!” – Ben Murphy, AU Review

“With a statement of intent such as this the band can be ensured of world–‐wide notoriety, especially if they can make their way out of the land down–‐under and up to Europe and the USA” – Miranda Yardley, Terrorizer Magazine

Soul crushing beats, powerhouse industrial grooves, topped with a layer of dirty rock’n’roll swagger – this only begins to describe the musical juggernaut that is DARKC3LL. The debut album REBOOT:REPEAT (RTD Records/Rocket Distribution) offered a soundtrack that pushed the boundaries in a scene currently plagued by mediocrity and commercialism. Packed with stadium level hooks and industrial flavored anthems, their debut will leave listeners wanting more…

Now, the band is gearing up to release their second album, due in September 2013 released via RTD Records/Rocket Distribution. Before its release, two singles have been lifted from the forthcoming album; Six Hundred & Six Six (released 12 December 2012) and Exorcist (released July 5, 2013).

Having shared the stage with Wednesday 13, Combichrist, Hanzel und Gretel , and Otep, DARKC3LL is known for putting on a show that will keep audiences hooked from beginning to end. J.Dracman (Vox) & Postmortem Matt (Guitars, Electro, Synths) form the backbone of this chaotic live act, rounded out by the abrasive Rit Derelict (Bass) and Jay Macabre (Drums).
