UNTIL DAWN Offer Free Download

amr_logo_smal_570

Until Dawn’s intense energy, intoxicating guitar riffs along with their lively stage show shows that their location in the remote northern depths of Fort McMurray, Alberta will not slow them down as they unleash their latest album Horizon on Tuesday, August 6 to follow up their 2011 self titled breakthrough.

Before the album’s release, the band is now offering to fans the first single This Fallen Fortress as a free download on PureGrainAudio.com here.

Vocalist Adam Macleod comments:

“We started working on Horizon two years ago, and the concept came together fast. As a touring band, we are always staring into the horizon geared towards the next show. That’s what we are trying to convey with our next record. We spent an immense amount of time writing and doing pre-production to ensure we lived up to our own expectations and our fans. We believe this is the best representation of what Until Dawn is right now. We are extremely proud and excited to get this record to our fans, to make new ones and hit the road to play the new songs live.

Our single This Fallen Fortress started as a song about being from Fort McMurray and the struggles we face as a band secluded so far north. But quickly turn into being about gaining strength through out any obstacle you are faced with. We as a band believe you can find strength and perseverance in any situation, and turn it into a positive. Let this dawn awaken.”

amr_logo_smal_570

Coming out of Edmonton Alberta Canada, All Else Fails is making a mark around the world for their aggressively dark brand of metal that is breaking the traditional ideals of their genre. Drawing comparisons to bands like As I Lay Dying, the band infuses their music with a variety of elements that includes experimental, Classical, synth lines, and spoken word sampling to accent a unique blend of heavy as hell screams and shiver inducing clean vocals.

A high energy live show that sets them apart from their peers garnered them appearances on numerous high level festivals over the years, including Van’s Warped tour, Boonstock and opening spots for Protest the Hero, Cancer Bats, Dayglo Abortions, 3 Inches of Blood, Fear Factory, Threat Signal, Decapitated, Suffocation, and Arise & Ruin.

July 30, 2013 marks the date of their heaviest and most diverse release to date, Fucktropolis. Heavy with a dark beauty, this highly anticipated 5 track EP, the band’s 4th release will solidly place All Else Fails amongst the best in their genre.

MAGNUS RISING Studio Footage, Live Dates

Whatever It Takes is the title of new, hard-hitting album from Canadian heavy-metallers, MAGNUS RISING. Check out the official album teaser with some great studio and live footage here: http://vimeo.com/50507783.

In other news, MAGNUS RISING can now announce that they will be performing at a festival in Canada this August with headliners 3 Inches of Blood. More details soon. Also, the band is finishing up on their new music video for the The Drill.

Whatever It Takes is about making music on the band’s terms and defying the odds. MAGNUS RISING have soared, trekking back and forth across the country, always working to rock bigger crowds in more bad-ass venues. In their western home, they’ve opened for metal powerhouses Iced Earth, Forbidden and Raven – bands who have showed them that time is irrelevant. Their dedication has paid off in droves building a sound all their own. Layered with emotion, feeling and aggression, MAGNUS RISING is reminiscent of a passionate punch in the jaw.

BETTER LEFT UNSAID Premiere New Song Online

Modesto, CA‘s Better Left Unsaid released the new track Mr. Dark from their upcoming new album online via their Facebook page at http://on.fb.me/16tcrKA. Better Left Unsaid will release their new self-titled album on June 18 via Epochal Artists Records/Capital Music Group. The album was recorded ProView Studios in Riverbank, CA Studios with producer Adam Ruppel (Systematic).

“We are extremely bored with most of the current metal trends. There’s not enough songwriting in a lot of newer metal. It’s getting too technical in a lot of ways, it’s almost like watching a movie that is just a giant car chase with no plot,” said says guitarist Greg Fender.

“There are plenty of other metal records that are super clean and perfect, but they’re also sterile. We wanted things to be raw and dark, dirty and ugly for this record, because sometimes everything is not going to be alright.”

Better Left Unsaid are a complex melodic metal machine that utilizes heavy grooves and technical precision to craft a powerful versatile attack. One minute, lead vocalist Adam Raffety lets loose anguished growls that sound a caged animal, and the next he’s belting out some of the most infectious melodies you’ve ever heard. Their versatility is their greatest asset and the band have bottled up all the trials and tribulations over the past few years, and unleashed them onto their explosive new self-titled album, Better Left Unsaid. The band employ a steadfast “do it yourself” attitude with their brutal brand of metal, that has seen them crisscross the country over seven times playing shows with the likes of Killswitch Engage, Devildriver, 3 Inches Of Blood, Daath, Mushroomhead, (Hed)P.E. and Hatebreed.

Better Left Unsaid tracks She Needs Violence and Threat Of Truth are featured on The Welding Room.
