THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER Full Album Preview, Song Descriptions

THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER already released three songs from Everblack; request to hear any track from the album on The Welding Room now!  Along with audio previews, fans can read descriptions of each song from one of metal’s finest storytellers, Trevor Strnad. To listen and read Strnad’s thoughts, visit DecibelMagazine.com now.

The Black Dahlia Murder’s sixth full-length album, Everblack, will be released on June 11 in North America and on June 7/10 in Europe. The cover art for Everblack was painted by renowned artist Nick Keller with Weta, whose recent projects include: The Hobbit, Avatar, Chronicles of Narnia, and more. Recording was completed at Audiohammer Studios (lead guitars and vocals), Rustbelt Studios (drums), and Regal Fecal (guitar and bass). Mixing was handled by Jason Suecof and Ryan Williams, mastering was completed by Alan Douches at West Westside. Trevor Strnad’s horror-inspired lyrics persist on Everblack, beginning with In Hell is Where She Waits for Me, a reference to the murder from which the band took for their moniker.

Fans can stream Into the Everblack now at metalblade.com/bdm. Also, there are a variety of limited edition pre-order bundles. Fans can grab Everblack on a double gatefold LP with purple/white marbled vinyl, along with “crime scene bundles.” An evidence pack, which includes toe tags, deceased band member photos, spent shotgun shells, and more can be viewed now.

BLACK DAHLIA MURDER will be touring in support of Everblack all summer long as part of the Van’s Warped Tour. Dates can be seen below, as well as on facebook.com/theblackdahliamurderofficial.

The Swedish blitzkrieg known as AVATAR began their first ever North American tour at The Studio at Webster Hall in New York City.

At the end of 2012, the band had established themselves as one of the top bands of the year on The Welding Room with their debut album, Black Waltz. The single Ready For The Ride was among the most requested, even though it was not a priority track by industry standards, yet you love it!

Look for AVATAR to rip up North America with SEVENDUST & LACUNA COIL.

AVATAR To Support SEVENDUST & LACUNA COIL

AVATAR holds their place as one of  top requested artists of 2012 on The Welding Room.

The smash hit single, Ready For The Ride, powered itself into the top played songs on program. So it comes as no surprise that The Welding Room alliance is very familiar with AVATAR.

If you’re not – familiar with the band or song, we apologize for your ignorance. It’s never too late!

However, for TWR Alliance loyalists, AVATAR playing in the States is a welcome surprise.

(NEW YORK, NY) – AVATAR, the band that brought you the gut wrenching side show video for Black Waltz and the visually dazzling video for Torn Apart will support SEVENDUST and LACUNA COIL this winter. This is the very first time the band will play the US, dates will stretch up and down the east coast.

Drummer John Alfredsson adds his own words:

“It feels truly amazing to get the opportunity to make our first strike in the US with Sevendust and Lacuna Coil. 2013 will be the year of Avatar in the states and we are excited to bring the madness to you!”

The band released their newest record, Black Waltz earlier this year to much critical acclaim

“No song sounds the same from start to end, each one is a stylistic roller coaster ride!”Metal Hammer

AVATAR: Video Collection

(New York, NYAVATAR, the band that brought you the gut wrenching side show video for Black Waltz premiered another stimulating video for their single “Torn Apart” via Fearnet.com.

Black Waltz – Official video

Directed by Swedish director Johan Carlén, the video continues down the path of visually stunning videos the band continues to make. Lead singer Johannes Eckerström offers his own words:

“If all violence was as in professional wrestling, I would get involved in way more fights. Hulk Hogan was one of my first heroes and made me want to spend my life doing insane things and be applauded for it. Backyard wrestling is not exactly a household expression here in Sweden, but on my street we went insane. I could pull off an awesome suplex by the age of nine.  Standing on that tiny stage while our audience threw each other through tables was a rush and pretty much the best form of mosh pit I’ve ever experienced. They made it look awesome and the context we put it in made it truly epic. We’re not really supposed to afford making a music video this cool, but once again we’ve proven what’s possible when you realize your potential and make the most you possibly can of it. When life gives you lemonade, punch life in the face.”

AVATAR released their newest record, Black Waltz earlier this year to much critical acclaim.

The making of Black Waltz

The band has been making waves in Europe with multiple appearances on festivals like Sweden Rock Festival, Metalcamp (Slovenia) and Metaltown (Sweden) supporting acts such as Helloween, In Flames and Megadeth over the years as well.
