DUNDERBEIST Upcoming Video Details

Norwegian hard rock sextet DUNDERBEIST will soon release a music video for their new single, Father Serpent, from their recently released album Songs of The Buried.

The video was filmed in Hamar, Norway by Jens Haugen, with whom the band also recently worked with on their latest photo shoot. The video is said to feature “awesome scenery, snakes, cockroaches, a black stallion and the band doing what they do best — looking good!”

Songs of the Buried – a continuation of the band’s prior album, the acclaimed Black Arts & Crooked Tails – is currently available in the U.S. digitally via iTunes HERE.

The album was recorded in the band’s self-owned Pigsty Studio and mixed by guitarist Fredrik Ryber, while mastering was completed by Alan Douches (Mastodon, Converge, Kvelertak).

“the best elements from doom, thrash, black, death metal and even some rock n’ roll”

 “snappy hooks and tongue-in-cheek humor” – About.com

You can grab a copy exclusively on iTunes HERE!

Songs Of The Buried provides a satisfying, triumphant listen for a Friday afternoon with the right amount of dark melody mixed in and still plenty of room for moshing along”

Dunderbeist have been at it for 6 years with the same amount of releases together with extensive touring. The Norwegian six headed locomotive embarks on their sixth release, their second one outside of Norway that follows their first international effort this year, Black Arts & Crooked Tails, with an album of great depth and sharper edges.

The album was like the previous ones recorded in Dunderbeist’s own pigsty studio in Hamar, Norway, mixed by guitarist Fredrik Ryberg. The mastering by Alan Douches ( Mastodon, Converge, Kvelertak) really puts the final signature on the sound, and contributes to erecting Songs of the Buried like a mighty beacon among  2012 metal releases.
