Rocky Mountain hydro-grinders Cephalic Carnage announced a month long European Tour as direct support for death metal legends Suffocation. The tour kicks off on May 9 in Geneva, Swiztzerland and runs through June 8 in Munich, Germany. A complete list of dates is included below.

Cephalic Carnage also began writing new material for their highly anticipated 7th full-length album. More details on this process will be announced shortly. The entire Cephalic Carnage discography is currently available for streaming via Bandcamp at this location.

Guitarist Steve Goldberg commented on the upcoming tour:

We are extremely excited to get back to Europe with our good friends in Suffocation, and to be out there with our local buddies in HAVOK. There are a few stops we haven’t been to in a very long time, and a few places we have never been to.  This tour will be brutal!

THIS MISERY GARDEN Debut Music Video

Dark rock outfit THIS MISERY GARDEN debuted a video for a new song from their forthcoming record, Cornerstone. The new track, titled Siamese Again, directed by Mathias Wälti is playing now here.

About the video, the band said:

“We are glad to present the new video Siamese Again supporting the upcoming album Cornerstone! The shooting took place in the Swiss Jura area last fall, directed by Mathias Waelti. The thematic may question the feeling of abandonment and the destructive repeating cycles! Your mind will do the rest.”

THIS MISERY GARDEN recently completed recording their Season of Mist debut album Cornerstone. It is the band’s testimony to melancholy and hope, anger defying serenity, love and deathm, slated for a North American release date on April 16.

The band previously uploaded a music video for the song Warning Zone. The clip was filmed entirely during the making of the album.

Cornerstone was recorded and mixed by Drop (SYBREED) at Downtone Studios (Trent Reznor, TV on the Radio) in Geneva, Switzerland. The album is now available for pre-order via the Season of Mist E-Shop.

French grindcore activists BLOCKHEADS released the second new song from their forthcoming full-length and first album in over six years entitled This World Is Dead.  The track Deindividualized is currently streaming here.

Recorded in Geneva, Switzerland at Terrier 5 with Jerome of NOSTROMO/MUMAKIL, This World Is Dead features 25 songs clocking in at over 40 minutes of brutally efficient, grade-A, frenzied grind. The album will see its release on CD/LP/Digital on January 22 (N. America), Jan 21 (UK/World), and Jan 18 (Germany/Benelux/Finland).
