DISCHORDIA Announce U.S. Tour

Oklahoma City’s steadfast death metal dominators Dischordia have just announced “The Beginning’s End” tour of the US for this coming July.
“We are excited to continue our pursuit of world domination,” comments Dischordia guitarist Keeno, struggling to maintain a straight face.
“Haha, yeah… cliches aside, it’s always great to take advantage of the summer months and burn some rubber visiting old and new fans across the country. There is metal to be shared!”
Dischordia released their debut full-length album, Project 19 in 2013 on Rogue Records America. The album was preceded by the Creator, Destroyer EP and both releases have made waves in the US and global online underground metal scene.

BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME Fall Tour

Between the Buried and Me will be embarking on a headlining tour across North America this fall. For the first time, the band will be performing The Parallax, both parts I and II, in their entirety. Joining the band for this tour will be The Faceless, The Contortionist, and The Safety Fire. The tour is scheduled to begin on September 13 in North Carolina and will wind its way across the US and Western/Central Canada before wrapping up in Tennessee on October 25.

Tickets are on sale now exclusively through SHOWstubs.com. Additionally, VIP packages are being offered. Fans have their choice of a general admission ticket, or deluxe bundles featuring an exclusive shirt, necklace, button pack, poster, loaded flash drive, or a flexi disc with the live version of Astral Body. And of course, bundles are available while supplies last!  Additional general admission tickets are on sale now through local outlets.

Between The Buried And Me’s ambitious concept album, The Parallax II: Future Sequence, released in October of 2012, was the North Carolina-based band’s highest Billboard chart position of their career at #22 on the Top 200. The album also peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hard Rock Albums chart, as well as earning accolades from Guitar World Magazine and claiming the #18 spot on the publication’s list of top 50 albums of 2012.

“Between the Buried and Me Continue to dominate progressive metal with Parallax II: Future Sequence, expanding on every already-top-notch aspect of its conceptual predecessor” – Alternative Press

The Parallax II: Future Sequence offers more substance than most bands put forth in entire careers” – Decibel Magazine

“Between The Buried And Me’s music is a beautiful thing, an amazing thing, and a very complicated thing, nowhere more so than on the new album. You stand there dumbfounded at the technical wizardry of it all, wondering how in hell they manage to assemble these devilishly difficult puzzles” – DRUM! Magazine

CATTLE DECAPITATION To Release 7″ Single

CATTLE DECAPITATION will be releasing a 7″ single this summer! Your Disposal features the B-side, An Exposition of Insides, which was previously available only as a Japanese bonus track on the band’s most recent album, Monolith of Inhumanity. The single is available (both black and clear vinyl) for order on-line on indiemerchstore.com for $5.50, as well as in a bundle with a t-shirt for $18.99. Pick up your copy of the single HERE, and check out the t-shirt bundle HERE. Fans attending this year’s The Summer Slaughter Tour can grab their copy at the band’s merch booth throughout the tour.

7″ available via indiemerchstore.com and at the band’s merch table on tour

Vocalist Travis Ryan comments:

“We noticed a lot of people were dismayed to find out there was a track available out there on a Japanese version of Monolith of Inhumanity that nobody outside of Japan had ever heard before. When it hit YouTube, that’s when we started getting emails from fans. We noticed the lyrics weren’t inside that version or available anywhere at all so that gave us the idea of throwing it on a b-side and releasing a 7″ vinyl single for Your Disposal with the song An Exposition of Insides! We feel that Monolith is the mother of all of our releases so far and I thought it’d be funny to make it look like she just squirted out a baby and that’s what this little guy looks like. Just in time for Summer Slaughter!”

The most extreme tour of the year has returned with its most devastating and anticipated line-up yet. The 7th annual Summer Slaughter Tour, presented by Indie Merch Store, ESP and Guitar World, is now officially slated to run from July 19th through August 24th. It features such heavyweights as The Dillinger Escape PlanAnimals As LeadersPeripheryNorma JeanCattle DecapitationThe OceanRevocationAeon and two bands TBA. Stay tuned over the coming weeks for official tour dates to be announced.

“Tracks like No Mercy, Plastic Wonderland and Spineless are absolute slayers that will surely impress longtime fans and newbies alike, and bring that classic I Hate Everyone flavor we’ve all grown to love” REVOLVER MAGAZINE

The band recently posted a video that reveals album artwork, track listing and 30 second song clips from their new album. CHIMAIRA also made headlines by way of crowd-funding a fan version CD/DVD where they more than doubled their initial goal via IndieGoGo.

For more than a decade, Chimaira has been imposing its gravity on the metal community by continually touring the globe and selling more than a million albums worldwide. Their brand of heavy music has evolved and transcended both itself and the trends while maintaining its persistent, bludgeoning force. In 2013, Chimaira continues to direct the masses & define a dark future with their new album, Crown of Phantoms.

Make no mistake; a monster has come in from the darkness to feed. Awakened, haunted, pissed-off, and above all, completely aware. You have no choice but to allow Chimaira to transcend your expectations yet again.

MOUTH OF THE ARCHITECT Premiere New Song

This year marks the ten-year anniversary of the undeniably spine-crushing band MOUTH OF THE ARCHITECT.  While many have anticipated the apocalypse in 2012, MOTA has been accurately predicting and creating the soundtrack for such a disaster since 2003.  There is perhaps no better way to celebrate such a milestone than by releasing a new face melting full-length record, and MOTA has never failed in that regard.

Get an exclusive first listen to the track, Sharpen Your Axes HERE.

The song How Will This End is streaming HERE.

The song It Swarms is streaming HERE.

Dawning is available for pre-order HERE.

The current lineup consists of drummer Dave Mann, guitarists and vocalists Steve Brooks and Kevin Schindel, keyboardist and vocalist Jason Watkins, and bassist Evan Danielson.  The band plans to celebrate its ‘most glorious birthday’ by releasing a psychedelic-tinged sludge-rock masterpiece.  Remaining under the long time label support of Translation Loss Records, their new album Dawning bludgeons its way to the top of their long catalog of doom rock greatness.  These dudes last proved their heavy-metallic weight in gold when they made it through a volcanic eruption to play the Roadburn Festival on their 2010 European tour in support of The Violence Beneath. This year these well-worn road veterans plan on bringing their incredibly loud and extremely hairy brand of post-metal to a venue near you in support of Dawning.  Of course, you have to live in the northern hemisphere to get your chance to witness this rock ‘n roll spectacle.

MOUTH OF THE ARCHITECT will be touring in support of Dawning this summer with Intronaut and Scale the Summit.

Please check out www.mouthofthearchitect.com and www.translationloss.com for more information.
