THIS MISERY GARDEN Stream Album

Metal/Rock outfit THIS MISERY GARDEN are streaming their new record, Cornerstone in it’s entirety here.

Switzerland‘s THIS MISERY GARDEN capture the dual nature of their home country on their second full-length Cornerstone. The face of THIS MISERY GARDEN is melancholy that reminds of early KATATONIA and speaks to isolation and despair. That darkness is wrapped in tight, measured, melodic hard rock reminiscient of meta-rock bands a la TOOL. Produced and mixed by Drop (SYBREED), and mastered by Jens Bogren (KATATONIA, OPETH, PARADISE LOST) in the prestigious Fascination Street Studio.

In the past 6 weeks, the band has premiered music videos for two tracks off Cornerstone. The band recently released a video for Siamese Again (directed by Mathias Wälti), and Warning Zone, which was filmed entirely during the making of the new album.

Cornerstone is now available for purchase via the Season of Mist E-Shop.

THIS MISERY GARDEN Debut Music Video

Dark rock outfit THIS MISERY GARDEN debuted a video for a new song from their forthcoming record, Cornerstone. The new track, titled Siamese Again, directed by Mathias Wälti is playing now here.

About the video, the band said:

“We are glad to present the new video Siamese Again supporting the upcoming album Cornerstone! The shooting took place in the Swiss Jura area last fall, directed by Mathias Waelti. The thematic may question the feeling of abandonment and the destructive repeating cycles! Your mind will do the rest.”

THIS MISERY GARDEN recently completed recording their Season of Mist debut album Cornerstone. It is the band’s testimony to melancholy and hope, anger defying serenity, love and deathm, slated for a North American release date on April 16.

The band previously uploaded a music video for the song Warning Zone. The clip was filmed entirely during the making of the album.

Cornerstone was recorded and mixed by Drop (SYBREED) at Downtone Studios (Trent Reznor, TV on the Radio) in Geneva, Switzerland. The album is now available for pre-order via the Season of Mist E-Shop.
