SPIRALARMS Streaming New Album

East Bay Heavy Rockers SpiralArms released their second album, Freedom in North America today via Steamhammer/SPV. In anticipation of the release Noisecreep is hosting an exclusive full album stream HERE. The album can be ordered on Amazon and iTunes.

The video for the song “Dropping Like Flies” can be viewed HERE.

SpiralArms rose from the ashes of millennial bands SystematicForbidden and Man Made God. This sextet has one mission. That mission is to save today’s music scene by bringing true heavy melodic rock to the forefront.  And they plan on doing this with Freedom.

Freedom’s down-to-earth and very dynamic production also deserves a mention. The album oozes a liveliness, which many other bands tend to lose in the studio.

“We always work at the studio as a full band,” says Locicero.

“The basic tracks of the new album were recorded in just about 16 hours, the rest was recorded by and by, but always in the same spirit. From the beginning, we never lost sight of our vision and that special flair which our new songs have.”

Just like rock fans shouldn’t lose sight of SprialArms if they don’t want to miss one of the hottest contemporary rock acts. Freedom will cut its own path, that’s for sure, particularly since SpiralArms can’t wait to tour on these shores:

“We hope to be able to come to Europe next spring at the latest. We haven’t forgotten the positive reactions to our show at the 2007 Graspop, where we were the only band without a record deal. That’s why we can hardly wait to play in Europe again.”

BETTER LEFT UNSAID Premiere New Song Online

Modesto, CA‘s Better Left Unsaid released the new track Mr. Dark from their upcoming new album online via their Facebook page at http://on.fb.me/16tcrKA. Better Left Unsaid will release their new self-titled album on June 18 via Epochal Artists Records/Capital Music Group. The album was recorded ProView Studios in Riverbank, CA Studios with producer Adam Ruppel (Systematic).

“We are extremely bored with most of the current metal trends. There’s not enough songwriting in a lot of newer metal. It’s getting too technical in a lot of ways, it’s almost like watching a movie that is just a giant car chase with no plot,” said says guitarist Greg Fender.

“There are plenty of other metal records that are super clean and perfect, but they’re also sterile. We wanted things to be raw and dark, dirty and ugly for this record, because sometimes everything is not going to be alright.”

Better Left Unsaid are a complex melodic metal machine that utilizes heavy grooves and technical precision to craft a powerful versatile attack. One minute, lead vocalist Adam Raffety lets loose anguished growls that sound a caged animal, and the next he’s belting out some of the most infectious melodies you’ve ever heard. Their versatility is their greatest asset and the band have bottled up all the trials and tribulations over the past few years, and unleashed them onto their explosive new self-titled album, Better Left Unsaid. The band employ a steadfast “do it yourself” attitude with their brutal brand of metal, that has seen them crisscross the country over seven times playing shows with the likes of Killswitch Engage, Devildriver, 3 Inches Of Blood, Daath, Mushroomhead, (Hed)P.E. and Hatebreed.

Better Left Unsaid tracks She Needs Violence and Threat Of Truth are featured on The Welding Room.
