WARDRUNA Announce Appearance in Norway

Norwegian viking neo-folk group WARDRUNA announced they will return to Oslo, Norway for an appearance at Riksscenen on Friday, October 18.

Multi-intrumentalist Kvitrafn commented,

“It’s been a long time since Wardruna performed in Oslo, so we are very excited to be presenting the songs from our new album Yggdrasil for our fans in Oslo!”

The band, additionally featuring vocalists Gaahl (ex-Gorgoroth, God Seed) and Linda Fay Hella, will also be seen making their debut live performances in the US and the UK; appearing at the Stella Natura Festival in California’s Tahoe National Forest in September and at Queen Elizabeth Hall in London later in October.

VIKING NEO-FOLK ACT WARDRUNA REVEAL ALBUM TEASER VIDEO

Kvitrafn comments,

“Although the instruments are more or less the same as on gap var Ginnunga, the nature of the runes featured on Yggdrasil have naturally made it a very different album.”
