SCALE THE SUMMIT Signature Guitar, Finish New Album

Texas progressive instrumentalists SCALE THE SUMMIT are proud to reveal guitarist Chris Letchford‘s Signature Strandberg BODEN CL7 guitar.

The production-series guitar was designed to Letchford’s exact specifications and is currently available for sale through www.strandbergguitars.com. Letchford will promote the guitar by making several appearances at the upcoming NAMM festival, including signings at the Strandberg, Jackson and EMG Pickups booths – the latter of which will also feature bassist Mark Michell, who will be promoting the release of his new instructional book for right-hand bass techniques.

In other SCALE THE SUMMIT news, the group recently finished recording their upcoming release, The Migration, with producer Jamie King (BTBAM, He Is Legend, For Today) at Basement Studios in Winston-Salem, N.C. The album, tentatively set for a late spring/early summer release, will be their third album through PROSTHETIC and the follow-up to their highly successful 2011 release, The Collective, named “essential prog” by Guitar World and “a perfect example of the pinnacle of musical excellence” by Hails and Horns.

Over the past four years, SCALE THE SUMMIT toured alongside some of progressive metal’s top acts, including Dream Theater, Periphery, The Contortionist, Protest The Hero, Cynic, Devin Townsend and Between The Buried And Me. Look for spring/summer tour information announced in the coming weeks.
